Weed club near Málaga

The honest part

Velvet is in Fuengirola. Only there. No branch in Málaga, no second address. Searched for a weed club in Málaga? Straight answer: we're not in the city. We're easy to reach from it.

There are no Amsterdam-style coffee shops in Málaga, and no retail sale anywhere in Spain. Clubs are private associations, run as non-profits, for adult members only. You join, you don't shop. More on how that works.

By train: the C-1

The Cercanías C-1 starts at Málaga Centro-Alameda, right in the centre, and calls at María Zambrano, the main station. Then it runs west along the coast and ends in Fuengirola. You can't miss your stop. It's the last one.

From Centro-Alameda it takes about 45 minutes. Trains run roughly every 20 minutes for most of the day.

The C-1 also stops at the airport, at the station by Terminal 3. From there it's just over half an hour to Fuengirola, past Torremolinos and Benalmádena. Take the train towards Fuengirola, not towards Centro-Alameda.

The C-1 doesn't run through the night. Check the last train back to Málaga on the Renfe timetable before you settle in.

By car

Take the A-7 west along the coast. From the city centre it's roughly 30 minutes without traffic, and about 20 from the airport. Summer and rush hour are slower, especially around Málaga itself.

If you're driving, you're not consuming. Spain fines drivers who test positive for drugs, whether they feel fine or not.

What to bring

Your original ID document. No photos, no copies: a picture of it on your phone isn't enough. You need to be 18 or over. That's the whole list.

Worth the ride?

Forty-five minutes for low light, good sound and no rush is a fair trade.
