By train

The Cercanías line C-1 runs from Málaga Centro-Alameda, through the airport, Torremolinos and Benalmádena, and ends in Fuengirola. Trains come roughly every 20 minutes. From central Málaga it's about 45 minutes. From the airport, just over half an hour.

By car or bus

Marbella and Mijas Pueblo have no train station, so you come by road. From Marbella, take the A-7, the AP-7 toll motorway or the bus along the coast. From Mijas Pueblo, a local bus runs down to Fuengirola bus station. Came by car? Don't drive after.
