Weed club near Marbella

Not in Marbella. Close to it.

Velvet has one address, and it's in Fuengirola. There's no Velvet in Marbella and no pop-up in Puerto Banús. Want a weed club from Marbella? It's a short trip east.

One more thing. Spain doesn't do retail sale: no Amsterdam-style coffee shops, no counter. A club is a private association of adults, run on a non-profit basis, and you come in as a member, never as a customer. Here's how that works.

No train from Marbella

Marbella has no train station. The Cercanías line from Málaga ends at Fuengirola, so you come by road. Car, bus or taxi.

By car

Two roads. The A-7 is free and follows the coast, past Elviria and Cabopino. The AP-7 is the inland toll motorway, usually quieter. Either way, about half an hour without traffic.

From May to September the A-7 slows right down. That's when the AP-7 earns its toll.

Driving back to Marbella? Then you don't consume. A positive roadside drug test means a fine in Spain, however sober you feel.

By bus

Avanza runs intercity buses from Marbella bus station to Fuengirola bus station. The quickest take about 30 minutes; the stopping bus along the coast takes closer to an hour. Check the last bus back before you go.

From Puerto Banús or San Pedro

West of the centre? Add roughly 15 minutes by car from Puerto Banús, a bit more from San Pedro. By bus, allow longer.

Taxi or app

Taxis cover the run between the two towns, and ride-hailing apps work along this stretch of coast. Easiest option for the way home.

Why make the trip

Marbella has plenty of noise. Velvet is a place to sit down, not a place to be seen.
